Krystal L. Johnson

Krystal L. Johnson, age 33, of Watkins, MN, lost her valiant battle with colon cancer on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her home in Watkins, MN. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Krystal L. Johnson, daughter of Douglas and Sharon (Seitz) Johnson, was born (along with a twin brother Lance) on April 10, 1985 in Litchfield, MN and graduated from Litchfield High School in 2003. In her junior year of high school she entered into a volunteer work program thru the school at ProWorks. After graduation she continued her employment full-time at Pro-Works culminating 17 years doing what she loved. Krystal was honored by Pro-Works to receive the 2017 Danielson-Nelson award which she cherished. She treasured her time with coworkers and clients so much they were like a second family. Krystal was a genuine free spirit with a lot of empathy and compassion for others. Krystal always bestowed love on her nephew, Rylan who meant the world to her. Over the years her heart was open to many cats and dogs including her beloved dog “Puppy”. Her leisure time enjoyment included swinging on her swing, watching women’s basketball, and walking the dogs to the river. You will forever be missed by all for the light and love you brought to each of us. But for now spread your wings and fly for you will never be alone; you are going home. Krystal is survived by her father Doug Johnson; mother Sharon (Seitz) Johnson; siblings Lance Johnson, Kerri (Craig) Johnson, Jo Leen (Le) Danielson; niece Emily Danielson; nephews Darik Danielson and her beloved Rylan Johnson; and brother Tom (Tricia) Johnson (Avery, Skyler and Wesley); maternal grandmother Josephine Seitz; plus aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Marvin and Vivian Johnson; and maternal grandfather Thomas Seitz.
