Kevin Rotert

Kevin Rotert, age 68 of Litchfield, MN died in LaCrosse, WI.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 13, 2024 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Litchfield.

Kevin Anthony Rotert, the son of Donald and Naomi Rotert was born in Carrol, Iowa on June 12, 1955.  He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1974 and served in the US army for three years.  Kevin was united in marriage to Joy on April 30, 1983 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Eden Valley.  While living in Litchfield, Kevin worked at Jennie-O, Custom Products and Cargill.  He was a member of the Church of St. Philip.  His grandchildren were the light of his life.  He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, dancing, bonfires and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his children Carissa (Adam) Youngblood of Litchfield, MN and Tamara Rotert of Litchfield; two grand children Jocelyn and Odin; siblings Donny (Patty) Rotert of St. James, MN, “Butch” LaMont (Joyce) Rotert of Mishawaka, IN, Lexie (Denny) Kuhnau of Litchfield, MN, Monica (Roger) Grannis of Mankato, MN, Kim (Mark) Rotert of Litchfield, MN, Kurt (Jodi)  Rotert of Sacred Heart, MN, Shane Rotert of St. Cloud, MN; significant other Jane Euerle; sister-in-law Lorelie Rotert of Bovey, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents Donald and Naomi; brothers Kyle, Punky(John); sister-in-law Geri; and nephews Stevie, Bradley and “Little Butch” LaMont.
