Kathleen M. O'Reilly

Kathleen M. O'Reilly, 75, of Litchfield, MN, formerly of Apple Valley, MN, passed away on March 17, 2017 at Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN. A Visitation Memorial will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield with a service at 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 24 at Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Avenue S., Mendota Heights. There will be a Celebration of Kathleen's life luncheon following the graveside service at Kip's Irish Pub and Restaurant, 9970 Wayzata Blvd, St Louis Park, MN. Kathleen Margaret O'Reilly was born in St. Paul, MN to Donald and Grace O'Reilly on June 4, 1941. She went to school in Richfield, MN graduating from Holy Angels Academy in 1959. She then graduated from the Mayo Clinic School of Practical Nursing in 1961. She worked until she married and had two children. To spend more time being a mother, she switched professions to working in various restaurants in the metro area ending she working career at Host International at the MSP Airport. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Grace O'Reilly; and brother Terrance. She is survived by her beloved children, daughter Bridgid Bowers of Litchfield, MN, and son, Daniel Bowers of Minneapolis, MN; sister Mary Stout of Florida; twin grandsons Matthew and Nicholas; along with several nieces and a nephew. Her grandsons were one of her greatest joys of her life and when she was able, she would volunteer in their school classrooms.
