Kanton Ray Flemming

Kanton R. Flemming, age 86, of Breckenridge, died on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Francis Home. A private family service will take place at a later date. Kanton Ray Flemming was born on February 10, 1928 in Cosmos, Minnesota to Ben and Alene (Emerson) Flemming. He grew up and received his education in the Litchfield area graduating from Litchfield High School in 1946. After high school he moved to Hutchinson and worked for Popp Cleaners for 22 years. He then moved to Rapid City, SD and worked for the newspaper and radio station for a short time before moving to Watertown. He worked for Lindsay Brothers for 30 years and Lesters, Inc. for six years. In 1999, he moved to Breckenridge. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners. He is survived by his daughter, Cherri (and Robert) Gans of Sartell; granddaughter Kelli (and Dan) Pederson; great grandchildren Kayle and Liam and brother Robert Flemming. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Darrell Flemming, and sister Karen King.
