Justin Allen Shoutz, the son of Lloyd Jr., and Irene (Young) Shoutz, was born on March 19, 1986 in Litchfield. He was baptized at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church. He grew up in the rural Kingston area and attended Litchfield schools graduating from Litchfield High School in 2004. He continued his education at St. Paul College and graduated in 2008. Justin worked as a union iron worker for Linco Fab and J&H Erectors. He enjoyed sports especially hockey. He played high school hockey, floor hockey, broomball and even invented a form of hockey he called knee hockey. He also played softball and baseball. Justin’s love for the outdoors was obvious in his enjoyment of hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, camping, snowmobiling and spending time at the lake. It was often difficult to pry him away from a game of cornhole. Justin was very mechanical and could strip a car down and rebuild it overnight, just in time to enter it in a demolition derby. His family and many friends will fondly remember him as a very kind, caring and fun loving person who loved children.
Justin is survived by his parents, Lloyd Jr., and Irene Shoutz, brothers; James Shoutz and Joshua Shoutz all of Kingston, fiancée Danielle DeSmith of Watkins, grandparents; Lloyd and Sharon Shoutz, Doug and Leona Young, godchildren Koda Shoutz, Arik DeSmith and Jaxen DeSmith, besides many other relatives and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his Aunt and godmother, Pamela Kuseske, cousin, Trevin Gabrielson, uncle, Rodney Young, great grandparents; Alexander and Genevieve Sinnett, Leo and Tresa Young, Ed and Katherine Rohrbeck and Leslie and Signe Shoutz and also his dog Max.
