June A. Anderson, age 92, of Litchfield, MN died on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Ecumen Emmaus Place. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield, Minnesota with visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Friday at First Lutheran Church and will continue one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery. June Audrey Anderson, the daughter of Mortie and Esther Mortenson, was born on June 19, 1924 in Meeker County. She was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church. She received her education in Litchfield, graduating in 1942. June was united in marriage to Andrew (A.G.) Anderson on June 1st, 1952 in Litchfield, MN. Together they lived in Litchfield most of their lives except for 5 years of living in Hutchinson early in their marriage. June worked as a cake decorator for the New Bakery in Litchfield for 25 years as well as making cakes for family until August of this year. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Litchfield her whole life where she was a member of BREW, WELCA and the quilting group. June was a hard worker and will be remembered as being very organized and proud of her Swedish heritage. She enjoyed baking, embroidering dish towels, collecting Swedish things and was known for her annual December Fancy Cookie and Bread Sale. She is survived by her children Barbara (Richard) Larson of Litchfield, MN and Beverly (Tim) Lindbloom of Buffalo, MN; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
