Juliet E. Hamm, age 77, of Litchfield died on Monday, March 9, 2015, at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 13th at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church. Juliet Elvira Hamm, the daughter of Henry and Eva Davidson, was born on April 1, 1937 in Buffalo, MN. She grew up and received her education in Annandale, graduating from Annandale High School in 1955. On November 26, 1955, she was united in marriage to Robert Hamm in French Lake, MN. They made their home in Litchfield and she worked as a nurse's aide and home health aide for more than twenty years. In 1968, they moved to Grove City. In 1976, Juliet decided to go back to school and she starting attending Willmar Vocational Technical College. After getting with her LPN degree she worked as an LPN and charge nurse at Emmanuel Home in Litchfield for 15 years. Her parents' health failed and she quit working in order to make more frequent visits. Juliet was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school. Later church merged into Trinity Lutheran Church. She was on the Grove City school board, Willmar Vocational Technical advisory board, and was a member of the Grove City Women's Club. Juliet was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts and a foster parent. She was on a bowling league in her earlier years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting Afghans, antiquing and refinishing furniture. Juliet also enjoyed painting, gardening, crossword puzzles and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hamm of Litchfield; children, Bradley (and Wendy) Hamm of Cokato, Bruce (and Linda) Hamm of Litchfield, Brenda Behrens (and Steve Kline) of Howard Lake, Bonnie (and Brian) Martin of Grove City, 13 grandchildren and 5 great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Daniel (and Patty) Davidson of Virginia, MN and Gabe (and Terry) Davidson of Annandale; sisters, Jeanette Motari of Golden Valley, Josie (and Bill) Triplett of Annandale, Henrietta (and Ron) Aronsonn of Las Vegas, NV; in-laws, Michael and Connie Hamm of Litchfield, Barb and Fred Behnke of Litchfield, Joe and Shirley Hamm of Plymouth and Audrey and Rick Twite of Lindstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Bill Motari.Previous Events
