Judy Beckman

Judith Elaine (Klitzke) Beckman of Litchfield, MN died at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN on Friday, December 12, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Judy was born on June 16, 1944 in Fort Snelling, Minnesota. She grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1962. Judy continued her education at St. Cloud State University, where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in accounting. On January 30, 1965 she was united in marriage to Jerry Beckman at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. Judy owned and operated The Framemakers in Litchfield for many years. Together Judy and Jerry owned and operated Beckman’s Appliance and TV in Litchfield for 35 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Judy enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Ashley and Lily. Judy is survived by her son Christian (and Stephanie) Beckman of Litchfield; daughter Brigette (and Chad) Flolo of Farmington, MN; 2 grandchildren Ashley Beckman and Lily Flolo; and 5 sisters Susan, Marsha, Cindy, Penny and Robin; and parents Earl and Arlene. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry and a sister Debbie.
