Jeanne Pearson

Jeanne M. Pearson, age 67, of Watkins, MN passed away on Tuesday May 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in her home in Watkins, MN.  A celebration of her life will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday May 22, 2023, at the Red Goat Restaurant in Watkins, MN. 

Jeanne way born on May 23^rd, 1955, in Buffalo, MN to Floyd and Cecelia Becker. She graduated from Eden Valley-Watkins High School in 1973. In 1981, Jeanne met Dean Pearson and they married on December 4^th, 1982. 

Jeanne enjoyed reading, playing cards, going to the casino, watching sports (especially the UMD women’s basketball team) and spending time with friends and family. 

Jeanne is survived by her husband Dean Pearson of Watkins, MN; daughter, Mandy Pearson of Duluth, MN; dog Dennis; sisters: Carol Lieder, Molly Becker, Susie (Jeff) Geislinger, Petey (John) Boeckmann; lifelong friend Chickie (Michael) Lease, and many nieces and nephews. 

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charlie and infant Paul, brother in-law Larry Lieder, mother and father in-law Ruth & Leland Pearson, and sister in-law Joanne Pearson. 

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Jeanne on Monday, May 22^nd from 4:00 -7:00pm at The Red Goat in Watkins, MN. 

In lieu of memorial donations, the family requests donations be made in Jeanne’s name to a charitable organization of your choice.
