Janet Kjellerson

Janet E. Kjellerson, age 86, of Litchfield, died on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Emmanuel Nursing Home in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held August 16, 2008 at 10:00 am, in Litchfield at the Augustana Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Harvey Nelson officiating. Janet Eleanor Kjellerson, the daughter of Ben and Myrtle (Coates/Aus) Sykes was born on December 30, 1921 in Valley City, North Dakota Where she grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to Carl Nielson in 1940 and were blessed with 7 children. She later married Chet Kjellerson. Janet enjoyed visits with friends and family, lively discussions and anything related to "The Lion King". Janet is survived by her son David Nielson of Great Falls, Montana, daughters Mary Ellen (and Donald) Stockeland of Cooperstown, North Dakota. Debra (and Jerry Lilly) of Queen Creek Arizona. Linda Anderson of Mayville, North Dakota and Thelma Henderson of Winnipeg, Canada. Four Grandchildren, Seven Step Grandchildren, One Great Grandchild, Twelve Step Great Grandchildren and Two Step Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husbands Carl Nielson of Valley City, North Dakota, Chet Kjellerson of Great Falls, Montana her Son Albert "Jackie" (Boles) Nielson of Bismarck, North Dakota and daughter Shirley (and Frank Lawrence) of Litchfield, Minnesota.
