James C. Loch

James Clemens Loch, 67 years of age, passed away on April 11, 2024 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

James was born on September 6, 1956, in Litchfield, MN to Jerome and Marion Loch (Bratts).  He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1974.  After graduation, he worked for Mies Electric  of Watkins, Watkins Creamery, St. Cloud Electric Union, Wings Treatment Center of Litchfield and inspected boats at Lake Ripley for the DNR.  He was also the mayor of Watkins for 26 years.  He enjoyed being a bartender for many years; and liked to play cards and help people.

James is survived by his two sons: Nicholas Loch of St. Cloud and Bradley Loch of Grove City; brothers Micheal and Roy of Litchfield and Dale of Watkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Marion; sister Valma Krueger of the Twin Cities and brother Thomas (Barb) of Eden Valley.

A Celebration of Life is planned at the Watkins Village Hall on May 18, 2024 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM.
