James 'Jim' W. Cox

James “Jim” W. Cox, age 66 of Sartell, MN died on Friday November 23, 2018 at the Dassel Lakeview Ranch. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday December 1, 2018 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service in Litchfield, MN. A visitation will be held from 1:00 until the 2:00 PM service. James Werner Cox, the son of Merlyn and Louise (Werner) Cox was born on May 26, 1952 in Litchfield, MN. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1970 and graduated from St. Cloud State University. Jim was united in marriage to Gayle Schwartz on June 25, 1977 at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. He was a recreational therapist in New York, Colorado and Minnesota. He had a passion for golf and enjoyed listening to the blues and watching movies and football. He is survived by his wife Gayle; children Christopher Cox and Jaime Cox; grandson Trevin Haag; brothers and sisters John Cox, Diane Revering, Phyllis Thulin and Jennifer Olson. He was preceded in death by his parents Merlyn and Louise.
