Isabelle S. Matteson

Isabelle S. Matteson, 91, of Litchfield, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center in Litchfield. A funeral will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, at 10:00AM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral & Cremation Service in Litchfield. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 3-6PM at the funeral home and will continue one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Medo Central Cemetery in Pemberton, MN. Born on Wednesday, March 4, 1931, in Litchfield, Isabelle was the daughter of the late William and Mary Vogelpohl. Remembered for her generosity and love for her family, Isabelle enjoyed baking, gardening, and sewing. Isabelle is survived by three children, William “Bill” Matteson, of Litchfield, Doug (Carol) Matteson, of Forest City, and Shirley Loch, of Willmar; eight grandchildren, Mary (Charles) Morrison, Angie Loch, Sara Loch, Lynn Loen (significant other, Brittany Baker), Dustin Matteson, Jeremy Matteson (significant other, Sam Garding), James (Lisa) Vogelpohl, and Rodney Hight; 12 great-grandchildren, Isabel and Caitee Morrison, Siada, Layla and Jordon Loch, Shawn and Derrick Sand, Dakota and Jayden Loch, Lily and Aaron Matteson, and Logan Hight; one great- great-grandchild, Ulises Camas; and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Vogelpohl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claudie Matteson; two sons, Clint “Toby” Matteson and Lenny Vogelpohl; and a brother, Melvin Vogelpohl.
