Isabel C. Anglin

Isabel C. Anglin, age 90, of Litchfield, MN, died on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Church of St. John in Darwin, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN with a 7:00 PM prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Friday. Interment will be held in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Darwin, MN. Isabel Clara Anglin, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Ertl) Wimmer, was born on May 16, 1926 in Meeker County, MN. She grew up in Forest City and was united in marriage to Lester Anglin in the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN on June 13, 1946. Isabel also lived in Darwin, Paynesville and Litchfield. She worked at 3M in Hutchinson, MN for many years. Following her retirement, she worked at the Dassel Lakeside Nursing Home. She was a member of the Church of St. John and the Daughter's of Isabella. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards and going to country music concerts with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children John (Shirley) Anglin of Dassel, MN and Mary Meier of Elk River, MN; grandchildren Stacie (Glen) Voss of Litchfield, MN, John (Jamie) Anglin of Dassel, MN, Amanda Anglin of Dassel, MN, Tamara ""Tammy"" Meier of Elk River, MN and Frank (Hollie) Rutkowski of Carver, MN; great-grandchildren Jonathon Rutkowski, Kaiden Voss, Connor Voss, Logan Voss, Isabella Anglin, and Easton Anglin; brothers and sisters Genevieve Hemmesch of Litchfield, MN, Hildegard Ornberg of Litchfield, MN, John Wimmer of Litchfield, MN and Valaria Schmit of Elk River, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
