Howard Hunt

Howard H. Hunt, age 61, of Litchfield, MN, died on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Hilltop Care Center in Watkins, MN. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Litchfield with Rev. Anne E. Scheible officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Howard Herbert Hunt was born on November 18, 1947 in St. Paul, MN, the sixth of seven children born to Stanley Hunt and Mary Patricia (Connelly) Hunt. He grew up in St. Paul, Maplewood, and LeSueur, and graduated from Johnson High School in St. Paul in 1964. He was united in marriage to Dorothy in Stillwater, MN on September 17, 1981. He was a welder all his life and worked many places in the Twin Cities and in Meeker, Wright and McLeod counties. He has been a resident of Litchfield since 1986. Howard enjoyed the outdoors and had a passion for camping, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; daughters Emily, Darla and Melissa; a granddaughter Abbey; brothers Richard, Steven and Robert; and a sister Margaret. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul and his parents.
