Henry ""Hank"" Weseman, 92, of Litchfield, MN, died on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Sunday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN and will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be held at the Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield, MN. Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Henry ""Hank"" Weseman, the son of Henry and Inis (Lyons) Weseman, was born the seventh of nine children, on November 15, 1924 in Martin County, MN. He grew up in Triumph, MN and received his education in Ormsby, MN. Hank entered the military and served in the US Navy in the Atlantic and the Pacific during World War II. Following his time in the military, he moved to Madelia, MN where he farmed. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Mae Jones in Zion Lutheran Church in Lake Crystal, MN on December 1, 1948. They moved to Grove City in the spring of 1960 where they raised their five children. He had livestock and farmed the land until moving to Litchfield in 1977. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and later attended Victory Christian Church both in Grove City and was a life member of the V.F.W. Henry and Bonnie enjoyed spending time at their cabins and traveling to Arizona during the winter. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, spending time with his great grandchildren and more recently enjoyed small dogs, babies, and going for car rides to feed the donkeys and check on the crops in the field. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of Litchfield, MN; children Shirley (John) Anglin of Dassel, MN, Jerry (Mary) Weseman of Grove City, MN, Craig (Rebecca) Weseman of Grove City, MN, Brian (Jerolyn) Weseman of Atwater, MN and Rita (Jerry) Hoekstra of Hawick, MN; 20 grand children; 42 great grandchildren; brother Marvin Weseman of Grove City; and sisters Mae Redman of Willmington, IL and Betty Terzik of Hastings, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Inis; and siblings Lawrence, Mayme, P.H. Weseman, Violet and John.Previous Events
