Harold P. Gendron, age 79, of Litchfield died on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Harold Paul Gendron, the son of Henry and Louise (LaTendre) Gendron, was born on May 19, 1938 in Biddeford, ME. He grew up and received his education in there, graduating from Biddeford High School in 1956. After high school he moved to Minneapolis. He worked at the restaurant in Walgreens. On March 4, 1961 he was married to Patricia Stadden in Minneapolis. They moved to Litchfield in 1975 to own and operate Harold’s Café. His family helped at the restaurant until he sold it in 1989. Harold then drove bus for Hick’s Bus. He enjoyed this job especially taking the sports teams to their events. Harold enjoyed watching sports, swimming and sitting by the pool.
He is survived by his wife Pat Gendron of Litchfield; children Kimberly (Tom) Schmidt of Litchfield, Terry Gendron of Davenport, IA, Curtis Gendron (Stacy Reinhold) of Nowthen, MN; grandchildren, Tabitha Wellbrock and Taylor Schimdt. He is also survived by his brother Gene (Claire) Gendron of Biddeford, ME and sister Gloria Chase of Kensington, NH
