Greg Knutson

Greg L. Knutson, age 54, of Grove City, MN, died on Sunday, October 12, in Litchfield, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Amelia and is survived by his sister Lynne Knutson of Shoreview, MN. Greg Lee Knutson, the son of Jerome and Amelia (Thurnbeck) Knutson, was born on June 24, 1954 in Litchfield, MN. He farmed on the family farm south of Grove City since 1971. Greg had a life long love of politics. He was active in state politics and was a delegate to several national conventions. He was elected to the Democratic National Committee in 1993. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until the 11:30 AM service. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
