Gordon R. Larson

Gordon R. Larson, age 86, of Litchfield died on Monday, October 23, 2017 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in First Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City, MN. Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Gordon Raymond Larson, the son of Victor and Gertrude (Lavender) Larson was born on February 24, 1931 in Grove City, MN. He received his education in School District 36 and Litchfield High School and served in the US Army. Over the years he was an over the road truck semi truck driver and did maintenance. He also mowed lawns and was a boiler operator. Gordon enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and visiting with his coffee friends. Gordon is survived by his son Mark; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Jean; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Allan, Vernon, Eileen, Irene and Corrine.
