Gloria Ann Seefeldt

Gloria A. Seefeldt, age 64, died on Friday, June 15, 2018 at her home near Hutchinson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Ripley Cemetery. Gloria Ann Mackedanz, the daughter of Edwin and Lida (Schroeder) Mackedanz, was born on December 16, 1953 in Hutchinson, MN. Gloria was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Litchfield and graduated from the Litchfield High School in 1972. On April 26, 1986, Gloria was united in marriage to Larry Seefeldt. This marriage was blessed with one son, Jereme. She worked at LPC, Innovex and Tech Etch for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s church. Gloria will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed baking, being on Facebook, celebrating holidays, bird watching, camping and family vacations. Everything she enjoyed, focused on her family and friends. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially “The Price is Right”, “Family Feud” and “The Andy Griffith Show”. She had the nickname “Aunt Bea” and was a devoted Elvis fan. Her husband and son were the most important things in her life. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Larry Seefeldt of Hutchinson, son Jereme Seefeldt of St. Cloud; brothers Roy (Suzanne) Mackedanz of Litchfield, Larry (Tammy) Mackedanz of Stewart, Glenn Mackedanz of Litchfield, Harold (Lisa) Mackedanz of Watkins, sister-in-law Pamela (Randy) Groskreutz of Hutchinson, many nieces and nephews; special friends Jane Ficker, Myra Johsnon, Jenise Revering, Diane Williams and Linda Bahr. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Barb Schmidt, nephew Dustin Soderberg, father and mother-in-law Harvey and Irene Seefeldt.
