Glenn L. Johnson

Glenn L. Johnson, age 87 of rural Litchfield, MN, passed away on October 29, 2015 in the Dassel Lakeside Nursing Home. A memorial gathering will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN at 3:30 PM. Glenn Leland Johnson was born on February 10, 1928 on a farm in rural Litchfield. He left the farm to pursue a career in flooring. During this time he met and married his wife Willadine. Farm life called and they moved back to the farm while continuing the flooring business. Eventually they retired to crop farming, which allowed them to spend a little more time with their children and grandchildren. He is survived by children Mark Johnson of Litchfield, MN, Robin (Tim) Altmann of Sleepy Eye, MN and Rebecca (Jeff) Nelson of Hutchinson, MN; grandchildren Josh and Ben Altmann; and step-grandchildren Michael Nelson and Stephanie (Jason) Brown; sisters, Luverne Ye of Golden Valley, MN, Shirley (John) Lekander of Kimball, MN; and brother Dean (LuAnn) Johnson of Norwood, MN.
