Gail M. Schwartz

Gail M. Schwartz, age 75 of Litchfield, MN died on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church. Gail Mary Schwartz, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Melancon) Germain was born on April 6, 1943 in St. Paul, MN. She received her education at St. Bernard’s High School and was united in marriage to Bernard Schwartz on May 2, 1964. She was a member of the Church of St. Philip. Gail had a passion for children and was a daycare provider for 33 years in her home in Eden Prairie. Gail was caring and outgoing and loved to joke and laugh. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, always supporting anything and everything their children ever wanted to do. Gail enjoyed sitting in the sun, going for drives, playing cards, watching game shows, listening to country music and spending time with her family. Gail is survived by her husband Bernie Schwartz of Litchfield, MN; children Shelly (Doug) Robinson of Eden Valley, MN and John (Karla) Schwartz of Monticello, MN; grandchildren Felisha (Josh) Meyer, Samantha (Jordan) Rivas and Austin (Maddy) Schwartz; great grandchildren Taylor, Breeynn, Wyatt, Isaac and Autumn; siblings Gary Germain of Dassel, MN, Paulette (Wayne) Gartner of St. Paul, MN and Arthur Germain of Litchfield, MN. She is also survived by brother and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Mary and mother and father-in-law.
