Evelyn L. Reinke, age 78 of Litchfield, MN, died on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Interment will be held at the Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield, MN. Evelyn Lucille Reinke, the daughter of Emerald and Mabel (Ray) Watkins was born on February 24, 1936 in Litchfield, MN. She received her education at Litchfield High School and was united in marriage to Orville Reinke on February 3, 1962 in the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield, MN. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon. Throughout her life Evelyn worked at Jennie-O, cleaned homes and was a homemaker for her family. She had many friends and enjoyed being active in her church and community. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her honest, caring and loving personality. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, riding her bike, spending time with her family, and going to movies and garage sales. She is survived by her husband Orville Reinke of Litchfield, MN; children, Brenda (Chris) Tholkes of Fridley, MN, Laurie (Roger) Wersal of Hutchinson, Coleen ""Cookie"" (Howard) Pelkey of Belgrade, MN and Tricia (Trent) McBride of Litchfield, MN; 4 grandchildren Daniel Reinke, Kristopher Torkelson, Ryan Wersal and Trevor Wersal; brothers Ray (Lorri) Watkins of Litchfield, MN, Maynard Watkins of Litchfield, MN, and Alvin (and Diane) Watkins of Willmar, MN; sister Dorothy (Norbert) Lindeman of Sauk Centre, MN.
