Evelyn Joyce Olson

Evelyn J. Olson, age 85, of Litchfield (formerly of Grove City) died on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center. A memorial gathering will be held at the home of Mark and Donna Beckstrand at 62525 230th Street Litchfield, MN on September 18, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. Evelyn Joyce Olson, the daughter of Sivert and Alice (Herr) Joramo, was born on September 6, 1934, in Litchfield. She grew up in Rosendale and attended Grove City High school. On April 25,1953, she was united in marriage to Victor Olson at First Lutheran. They made their home in Grove City, MN. Evelyn enjoyed camping, traveling, sewing, putting together puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her daughters Donna (Mark) Beckstrand of Litchfield, DiAnn (Shane) Selders of Springfield, MO, Denise (Michael) Stewart of Golden, CO; grandchildren Todd (Melissa) Olson, Tiffany (Tad) Marschall, Lindsay (Jason) Ruppert, Luke (Jenna) Beckstrand, Danielle, Derek (Becka), Jessica, and Cody Selders, Samantha (Nick) Lesuer, Kylie and Corban Stewart. Great grandchildren Jack, Sam, Millie, Taryn, Claire, Max, Madison, Brooklyn, Beau, Marin, Kayden, Taya, and Evelyn. Sister Evangelyn Olson and Brother-in-law Arnold (Rose) Olson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Victor, daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Leon Huls, Brother Floyd (Marion) Joramo. Brother-in-law Robert Olson.
