Eva E. Hudson

Eva E. Hudson, age 98, of Litchfield, MN, died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in the Big Lake Cemetery. Eva Evelyn Hudson, the daughter of Adolph and Blanche (Coffin) Jensen, was born in Becker, MN on December 17, 1916. She graduated from Big Lake High School and was united in marriage to Richard ""Bud"" Hudson in Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. Eva lived in Big Lake and Minneapolis before moving to Litchfield in 2009. Eva was known for her vegetable garden and the love of the Lord. She enjoyed canning her vegetable harvest, watching the MN Twins and was always up for a game of cards. Eva is survived by her son Jerry (Judy) Hudson of Litchfield, MN; grandchildren Brad Schoen of Big Lake, MN, Deonn Kraemer of Champlin, MN, Jerry (Kim) Hudson, Jr. of Big Lake, MN, Troy (Jodi) Hudson of Minnetonka, MN and William (Darcy) Hudson of Litchfield, MN; 5 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; brother Ken (Lucy) Jensen of Monticello, MN; special nephew Alfred Shenton of Maple Lake, MN and many other nieces and nephews.
