Ernest Anderson, Jr

Ernest E. Anderson Jr., age 90, of Litchfield, died on Thursday, February 12 , 2009 at the Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield with Pastor Mike Zylstra officiating. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service. Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Ernest Edgar Anderson Jr. was born on July 24, 1918 to Ernest Edgar and Joyce (Mathie’u) Anderson in Carry, North Dakota. Ernest entered the Navy and served during WW II. Throughout his life he lived in South Dakota where he went to auto body school, California for 16 years and Minnesota. He enjoyed working with cars and auto body repair. Ernest is survived by his children Dennis, David, and Joyce. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Joyce; and sisters Ruth Dale and Francis Anderson.
