Emerald 'Ardell' Topp

Emerald A. ""Ardell"" Topp, age 88, of Litchfield, MN, died on June 5, 2017, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday June 10, 2017 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home, Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Military honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Emerald Ardell Topp, the son of Emerald and Alice (Nelson) Topp was born in Manannah Township, MN on September 16, 1928. He received his education in Manannah and served in the US Army. Ardell was united in marriage to Iris Tobeck on April 28, 1951 in Newport, VA. He lived in Fridley, MN for 40 years where he was a truck driver for Hyman Transportation and has lived in Litchfield for over 30 years. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Ardell enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and traveling.
