Elvin M. Engeseth

Elvin M. Engeseth, age 51, of Eden Valley, MN, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Hustletown Community Church in Chengwatana Township, Pine County, Minnesota . Interment will be held in the Hustletown Union Cemetery. Elvin Myron Engeseth, the son of Elvin and Ramona (Emery) Engeseth was born on January 6, 1961 in the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Throughout his life he lived in Richfield, Pine City, Cambridge, Mora, Avon and Eden Valley, MN. He was united in marriage to Juanita DuBious in 1980. Elvin enjoyed watching football, fishing, gardening, cooking, playing cards, and frisbee and horseshoes. He will be remembered for his storytelling ability and his sense of humor. He is survived by his son Gregory Adam Engeseth of St. Cloud, MN; siblings, Faith Wamutu of Minneapolis, MN, Hope (and Georgette Wonders) Engeseth of Kenosha, WI and Leslie (and Wendy) Bloom of Pine City, MN; step-father Lyle Bloom of Kenosha, WI; uncle Guy McDermeit of Shingletown, CA; aunt Opal Emery of Vernon Center, MN; nieces and nephews Adriana Bloom of St. Cloud, MN, Jenna Bloom of Pine City, MN and Jesse Nyakundi of Minneapolis, MN, former wife Juanita of Milaca, MN; many cousins and his friends at the dialysis center of Litchfield.
