Douglas J. “Doug” Johnson, age 50, of Grove City died at Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield on Thursday, December 25, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City with Pastor Peter Lee officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 — 8:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2008 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery, Grove City, MN. Doug is survived by his four daughters; Christina (Nick) Baklund of Lakeville, Erinne Johnson of Murdock, Melanie Johnson of Belle Plaine, Courtney Johnson of Grove City; three grandchildren Lauren and Tristan Baklund & Hayden Diederich; former wife Kim Johnson of Grove City; two brothers; Bruce (Janelle) Johnson of Grove City, David (Lori) Johnson of Grove City; two sisters; Tracey (Jay) Hedtke of Grove City, Deanna (Ambrose) Singleton of Fayetteville, NC. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Doug was preceded in death by his parents; Vernal & Naoma Johnson Peace be to his memory.
