Donna M. Schultz

Donna M. Schultz, Mrs. Willard Schultz, age 75, of Litchfield, MN died peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 18, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Beckville Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday. Interment will be held in Beckville Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Beckville Lutheran Church Building Fund. Donna Mae Schultz, the daughter of Peter and Ella (Stier) Karg was born on August 3, 1936 in Litchfield, MN. She was baptized on June 30, 1937 and confirmed on March 28, 1948. Donna graduated from Litchfield High School in 1953 and continued her education with nurses training. She was united in marriage to Willard Schultz on November 7, 1954 in Glencoe, MN. Throughout her life she lived in Glencoe, Hokah, Waconia, Hopkins, Hastings, Cottage Grove and Litchfield, MN. She worked at the Waconia Nagel Hospital, the Haven Homes in Hastings, MN and at Bethany Home and Emmanuel Nursing Home in Litchfield, MN. Donna was a member of Beckville Lutheran Church where she was active in WELCA. Donna was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 498. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing, fishing, word find books, watching the Twins, reading books, traveling, babysitting and spending time with her family. Donna is survived by her husband Willard of Litchfield, MN; children, Randall (and Brenda) Schultz of Litchfield, MN, Ronald (and Debra) Schultz of Woodbury, MN, and Linda Sherwood of Grove City, MN; grandchildren, Jenny (James) Kunkel, Mike (Fabe) Schultz, Jessica Schultz, Nathaniel (and Tiffany) Schultz, Brandon Mead, Alisa Sherwood, Alex Sherwood, Amy Sherwood, Ashley Schultz and Hunter Schultz; great grandchildren Carly, Devin, Kolby, McKenna, Koehn, Kenden, Annabelle and Chandler; brothers Willard (and Mary Ann) Karg of Isle, MN, David (and Hazel) Karg of Weatherford, TX; sisters, Shirley (and Willard) Johnson of Excelsior, MN, Bonnie (and Leo) Stugelmeyer of Worthington, MN; brother-in-law Kenneth Koll of Hutchinson, MN; and daughter-in-law LeeAnn of Litchfield, MN.
