Donna Magoon Hansen, age 83, of Litchfield died at her home on Saturday, December 11, 2010, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the A/G Lighthouse Church in Litchfield, MN with Pastor Christopher Castilleja officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, MN and one hour before the service at church on Wednesday. Interment will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Donna Margaret Irene Magoon Hanson, the daughter of Swan and Clara ""Kay"" (Jones) Anderson, was born on August 27, 1927 in Red Oak, Iowa. She grew up in Cass Lake, MN, where she received her education. She was united in marriage to Roy E Magoon on March 2, 1946 in Cass Lake, MN. Together they moved back and forth between Cass Lake and Omaha before they settled in Minneapolis in 1951. They moved to Grove City in 1960 and Dassel in 1964, where they lived for 20 years. They moved to Litchfield in 1984. Roy died in 2002. Donna was united in marriage to Russell Hansen in Litchfield, MN on March 20, 2004. She was an active church member everywhere she lived, including the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, the Swan Lake Lutheran Church in Dassel, the New Life Church in Cokato and the A/G Lighthouse Church in Litchfield, MN. Donna shared her faith in many ways throughout her life including her Jail ministry; being a church deacon, a Sunday school teacher, the President of the ""Women's Aglow"", and the President of the A/G District Women's Ministry. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing dominoes, quilting, writing poetry, singing and yodeling, and spending time with her family and friends. She was active as a Cub Scout Den Mother, taught first aid training courses in Minneapolis, founded the ""Queen For A Day"" event for cancer patients and started the Women's Tea Ministry in her home in Litchfield. She was a member of the American Cancer Society and the Litchfield Library Board. Donna is survived by her children; Charles (and Nancy) Magoon of New Richmond, WI, Karen (and Daniel) Mohlin of Willmar, MN, Glenn (and Jacque) Magoon of Litchfield, MN, Garry (and Dawn) Magoon of Litchfield, MN; Gregg Magoon of Litchfield, MN, Colleen (and Thomas) Garrity of Laconia, N.H., Colette (and Kenneth) Bolster of Dassel, MN, John (and Mary) Magoon of Royalton, MN, and Mark (and Joyce) Magoon of Litchfield, MN; foster daughter Nancy (and Gerald) Londroche of Atlanta, GA; stepchildren Loren (and Myrna) Hansen of Apple Valley, MN and Iris (and Mac) Baird of Roseville, MN; 26 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 1 foster granddaughter; 42 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother Richard (and Marilyn) Anderson of Burr, NE; sisters Carol Ann (and Don) Hall of West Point, NE and Janice Lee (and Larry) Castleberry of Canton, TX; and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy Magoon in 2002; husband Russel in 2007, brother Mervin ""Andy"" Anderson; infant brother Swan Harlan Anderson; and grandson Michael.
