Don Worden

Donald “Don” R. Worden, age 39 of St. Cloud, formerly of Litchfield, MN, died unexpectedly on June 2, 2023, on the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, MN.  A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday June 10, 2023, at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday June 9, 2023, at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation in Litchfield.  Visitation will continue from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday June 10th at church.  Interment will be held at Arndahl  Cemetery.

Donald “Don” Richard Worden, the son of Bruce and Venita (Voigt) Worden was born in Litchfield, MN on August 11, 1983.  He received his education in Litchfield and Grove City; and graduated from Litchfield High School.  Don married the love of his life Amanda Remarke, by eloping on September 3, 2022.  He was a long time, traveling construction worker, who was really a carpenter at heart.  He was a member of the Cement Mason Union Local 633, and worked for Kiffmeyer Construction in Coon Rapids, MN.  Don was loyal and loved being outdoors.  He excelled at woodworking and enjoyed hiking, playing disc golf, fishing, and he was happiest when he was on the water kayaking.

Don is survived by his wife Amanda; children Leo, Hannah and Brendan; parents Bruce and Venita; brothers Mike (Shannon), Matt (Jessie) and Patrick; along with many extended family.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncle Chuck Voigt; and cousins Martin Hoekstra and Dean Peterson.
