Dolores Mathilda Ann Bergstrom

Dolores Bergstrom, age 84, of Litchfield died on Monday, August 31, 2015, at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 4, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City, Minnesota. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the First Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City, MN. Dolores Mathilda Ann Bergstrom, the daughter of Oscar and Edna (Walls) Onell was born on January 10, 1931 in Darwin Township, Minnesota. She grew up on the family farm south of Litchfield, MN, on the shore of Lake Minnie Belle and attended school in District 59 of rural Litchfield. She was united in marriage to Eugene Bergstrom on December 18, 1959 in the Atwater Parsonage and together made their home in Grove City where they owned and operated Bergstrom's Pool Hall for seven years and Bergstrom's Corner Café for sixteen years. Dolores was a cook at the Grove City, MN School for eleven years until her retirement. Dolores enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, music and spending time with family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City, MN Dolores is survived by children Lori (and Bob) Kingery of Kandiyohi, MN, Melissa Bergstrom of Grove City, MN; grandchildren Heather (and Don) Larson of Willmar, MN and Nissa (and special friend Dan Kurtz) Kingery of St. Cloud, MN and step great grandchild Zachery (and Hannah) Larson and their daughter Leighton of Kandiyohi, MN.
