Diane June Engelstad

Diane June Engelstad, age 65, of Litchfield passed away at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service in Litchfield, Minnesota. Interment will be in the Ripley Cemetery Diane was born in Westhope, North Dakota on July 14, 1953, to Lyle and Mary (Armer) Sisk. She attended Westhope Public School graduating in 1971. In June of 1971 she married Gary Engelstad in Westhope, North Dakota. Diane worked as a home maker while raising her four children. They lived on a family farm near Antler, ND until 1989 when their marriage ended. She then moved back to Westhope. In 2004 she moved to Eden Valley, MN and later moved to Litchfield in 2015. Diane enjoyed gardening and loved animals, mostly horses and her dogs especially her four legged companion Abby. She is survived by her four children: Michelle (Greg) Anderson of Litchfield, Mark (Becky) Engelstad of Flora, IL, Melissa (Jason) Hartkopf of Eden Valley and Michael Engelstad of Litchfield; grandchildren: Logan Stevens, Alexander Sieberlich, Arianna Dingmann, Austin Dingmann, Alyssa Dingmann, Gage Engelstad and Hailey Hartkopf. She is also survived by her sister Donna (Bob) Froseth of Minot. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Sisk.
