Deirdre ""DeDe"" A. (Mattsfield) Anderson, age 52, of Litchfield, MN, died on Monday, November 1, 2010 in Minneapolis, MN. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Lindhorst officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Saturday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Interment will be held at Ellsworth Cemetery, Darwin, MN. Deirdre ""DeDe"" Anne Anderson, the daughter of John and Anne (Rudberg) Mattsfield was born on August 9, 1958 in Litchfield, MN. She grew up and attended school in Litchfield, graduating from Litchfield High School in 1976. She continued her education in Minneapolis, graduating from the Minnesota College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1980. She was united in marriage to Gordon Anderson at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Litchfield on June 18, 1983. DeDe worked as a buyer for Dayton-Hudson and for the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Center while living in Minneapolis. After moving back to Litchfield in 1999, she enjoyed working with children at the Stay and Play Day Care Center. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. DeDe enjoyed painting, photography, flower and vegetable gardening, sewing and horses. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother.
