David Bommer

David A. Bommer, age 55, of Litchfield, MN, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Emmanual Home in Litchfield, MN. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, with Pastor Mike Finch officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mentor, MN. David Andrew Bommer was born July 11, 1953 in Crookston, MN to parents Frank Andrew and Ann Mary (Goergen-McNutt) Bommer. He was raised and attended school in Mentor, MN. David worked various jobs throughout his life, most recently for B. Lease and Sons and Towmaster Trailers in Litchfield. He was united in marriage to Sandy Nelson on July 9, 1994. David enjoyed dancing, playing pool, hunting, fishing and joking around with his family and friends. David is survived by his step-parents Armond and Bernice Anderson of Fosston, MN; sisters Dianne (and Johnny) Plante of Brooks, MN and Judy Black of Thief River Falls, MN; half-brother Daniel (and Lori) Anderson of Goodridge, MN; step-brothers William (and Jen) Anderson of Moorhead, MN, Duaine Anderson of Fosston, MN; step-sister Tammy (and Ken) Kaasa of Gully, MN; half-brother Wayne McNutt of California; half-sister Marylin McNutt of California; former wife Sandy Dewald of Litchfield and special friend Andrew of Litchfield. He is also survived by several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; half-brother Jimmy NcNutt and several aunts and uncles.
