Darlene M. Moyer

Darlene M. Moyer, age 57 of Maple Grove, MN died on Friday December 21, 2018 in her home in Maple Grove, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday December 28, 2018 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Darlene Marie Moyer, the daughter of Thomas and Marie (Sinnett) Moyer, was born on December 16, 1961 in Litchfield, MN. She graduated from Kimball High School in 1980 and received her LPN at St. Cloud State Technical College. Darlene worked at St. Mary’s Nursing Home in Winsted, MN, the St. Cloud Detox and Crisis Center and the St. Cloud Hospital. She lived most of her life in Litchfield, but also lived in Brainerd and recently moved to Maple Grove. She taught religion in church and was active in quilting and sewing groups. She enjoyed small animals, reading books, watching movies, listening to oldies music, doing crafts, and volunteering. Darlene is survived by her daughter Diana and (Jeremy) Donnay of Litchfield; Jody Hamilton of Brainerd, mother Marie Moyer of Watkins, MN; sisters Jan and (Randy) Shoutz of Maple Grove, Colleen Moyer and fiance Tim Bickerstaff of Paynesville; foster brother Joseph and (Kim) Tousignant of Hankinson N.D; grandchildren Haylee and Joshua Donnay; nieces and nephew Amanda and (Kevin) Nething, Ashley and (Joe) Weckwerth, Kirsten Tousignant, Nicole, Jacob and Katlin Bennett; and great nieces Esmae Rose and Arabella Bennett. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Moyer, grandparents Hazel and Calvin Moyer and Gen and Alex Sinnett; and Godmother Leona Young.
