Hoerchler, age 55, died on January 6, 2021 in Atwater, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Manannah. Walk thru visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Manannah Cemetery. Dale August Hoerchler the son of Cletus and Donna (Schachtner) Hoerchler was born on September 18, 1965 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He grew up and received his education in Grove City graduating in 1984. He engaged in farming with his dad Cleutus and eventually removing snow and transferring manure. Dale worked with Jennie-O supplying bedding. He eventually started his own bedding company forming D & D Ventures in 2002. He also owned D Ray’s Pub and Corner Bar in Grove City. Dale was a member of Our Lady of Manannah Church. He was an avid Twins fan, was a member of the Champions Club and friend of Tony Oliva and Rod Carew. Dale was a long time participant in a ProAm golf tournament called the Wigwam Interclub Championship. He also enjoyed spending time in Florida, playing blackjack and gambling on sporting events. He is survived by his son Dylan (Samantha) Hoerchler of Atwater, MN and brother Mark (Joann) Hoerchler of Igle, MN, sisters; Janet Johnson of Grove City, Sharon (Dan) Lindstrom of Grove City, MN and Mary Hoerchler of Montrose, MN. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Wayne Johnson.
