Constance O'Hern

Constance M. ""Connie"" O'Hern, age 63, of South Haven, MN, died on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Constance Marie ""Connie"" O'Hern, the daughter of Jim and Ruth Himsl Ingham, was born on May 1, 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island. She attended Holy Angels High School in Richfield, MN, graduating in 1966 and continued her education at Normandale College, graduating in 1990. On December 31, 1966, she was united in marriage to James O'Hern in Watertown, South Dakota. Connie worked as an Electonics purchaser with Control Data and Zytek Corporation from 1970 to 1990. She enjoyed traveling with and watching her sons play hockey, playing softball, and was a bowling expert. She and her husband enjoyed their years of retirement together splitting time in their homes in Minnesota and Florida. She is survived by her husband, James O'Hern of South Haven, MN; sons, Tim O'Hern of Annandale, MN and Chris O'Hern of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Brittany O'Hern of Fort Myers, FL, Melissa O'Hern of Fort Myers, FL, Johnny O'Hern of Fort Myers, FL and Ryder O'Hern of Annandale, MN; a brother, John Ingham of Plymouth, MN and a sister Janice Higgins of Edina, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Ruth.
