Constance 'Connie' L. Maday

Constance L. 'Connie' Maday, age 67, of Litchfield, MN died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. A visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Friday at church. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery Litchfield, MN. Constance Lucille Maday, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Petersen) Kimmet, was born on March 19, 1947 in Estherville, Iowa. She graduated from Ringsted High School in 1965 and continued her education graduating from the Mankato Business School. She lived in New Ulm from 1970 to 1978 and moved to Litchfield, where she was the store manager at Suzie's and later worked at Innovex. Connie was a member of the Church of St. Philip and a former member of the Catholic United Financial. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, gardening, activities at Lincoln Apartments, and spending time with her family and friends. Connie is survived by her daughters Teresa (and Tim) Kremer of Ankeny, IA and Alison (and Chuck) DeWolf of Litchfield, MN; 5 grandchildren Kyrie Kremer, Riley DeWolf, Jessica Kremer, Eric Kremer and Emma DeWolf; brothers Tom (and Carol) Kimmet of Estherville, IA and Mike (and Kay) Kimmet of Fairmont, MN; sisters Alice (and Rod) Jacobson of Albert Lea, MN and Louise Carley of Cleveland, OH.
