Constance M. Lindeman, age 79, of LaValle, Wisconsin died on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Dassel Lakeside Care Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 1:00 pm at Cornerstone Church in Litchfield, MN. Constance Marie Lindeman, the daughter of Ruben and Florence (Peterson) Stockenberg, was born on September 4, 1933, in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Evanston Township High School and continued her education at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She was married to Howard E. Lindeman in Evanston. She had an entrepreneurial spirit and her work life was varied and adventurous. It took her from Evanston, IL to Newfolden, MN, Rockford, IL, and LaValle, WI. She worked in retail marketing, owned a women's accessory retail business, developed real-estate, managed investments, did tax preparation and operated her own farm. She will be remembered as an amazing woman who was very independent, creative, determined, and most of all, a great mother and grandmother. For the past 20 years, she was devoted to the expansion and restoration of her farm house in Wisconsin. In September of 2012 health issues set a course for her to move to Dassel to be closer to her daughter Sharon. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (and Paul) Jorgensen of Litchfield, grandchildren Sarah (and Noble) Duncanson of Bloomington, Daniel Jorgensen of Fridley, Kristen (and Jameson) Bast of Minneapolis and Markus Jorgensen of Azusa, CA. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Lindeman, sister Marjorie Moldermaker and parents Ruben and Florence Stockenberg. Memorials are preferred to the RBC Ministries and St. Jude's Children Research Hospital. Previous Events
