Clinton G. Anderson, age 62, of South Haven died peacefully at his home early Friday, November 21, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25th with a parish prayer service at 7:00 PM also at the church. Interment will be in the Grace Lutheran Cemetery near French Lake. Clinton George Anderson, the son of George and Audrey (Peterson) Anderson, was born on April 1, 1952, in Litchfield, Minnesota. He graduated from Litchfield High School and continued his education at St. Cloud Technical College. Clinton lived in the cities while he work at FMC as a government certified welder. He then moved to Hutchinson and worked at Hutchinson Manufacturing for several years. While he worked there he spent two years in Florida working on welding projects for Disney and cared for his mother. Clinton then moved to Litchfield where he worked as a welder/trainer for Bobcat/Doosan and was on the first responders team there. On August 26, 2005, he was united in marriage to Carol Ann Schulte in St. Cloud. In 2006, they moved to their current home near South Haven. Clinton was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Church of St. Philip. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his step-children and step-grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Carol Anderson of South Haven; step-children, Amanda Rae (and Matt) Franet of Cokato, Michael Thomas Johnson, Autumn Rose Johnson and Morgan Theresa Marie Johnson all of South Haven; step-grandchildren, Tucker, Kenneth and Charlie. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Erickson of Palisade, MN, Sharon (and Doug) Lossing of Brooklyn Park, and Karen (and Leroy) Grant of Egan. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Audrey Anderson and nephew Bryce Erickson.Previous Events
