Clarence Robert Kalkbrenner, Jr.

Clarence R. Kalkbrenner, Jr., age 77, died on November 3, 2018 at Meeker Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eden Valley. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday November 8, 2018 at the church and will continue one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Manannah Cemetery. Clarence Robert Kalkbrenner, Jr., the son of Clarence and Esther (Kelm) Kalkbrenner, was born on April 29, 1941 in Litchfield. Clarence was married to Barbara Donnay on June 27, 1962. This union was blessed with five children. He was a milk truck driver for First District for 29 years, farmed drove school bus and worked at Lube-Tech. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eden Valley. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, camping and polka music. He is survived by his children, Randy (Kim) Kalkbrenner of Litchfield, Kellie (Brian) Rosenow of Grove City, Ricky (Amy) Kalkbrenner of Litchfield, Ronnie Kalkbrenner of Litchfield, and Katie (Jake) Hansen of Cosmos; grandchildren, Rori Jones, Kyle (Janice), Kaleb (Andrea), Kody, and Jake Kalkbrenner; Kirsten, Brennan (Jessica), and Kayla Rosenow; Alex, Andrew (Anna), Riley, and Mason Kalkbrenner; Stacee (Cody) Brainard, Maxwell, and Samantha Kalkbrenner and Elena Hansen; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Silas, Gordon, Kinsley and Ryker Kalkbrenner, Harlee Jones and Braxton Brainard. He is also survived by his sister Janice Markovich and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents, brother Dale, sister Delores Condon and grandson Brady Kalkbrenner.
