Christie A. Carlson, age 32, of Rochester, MN, died at the St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at the Ness Church in rural Litchfield, MN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 800 PM on Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN and will continue one hour prior to the service at Ness Church. Memorials may be made to the Women's Shelter Inc. - Rochester, MN or the Ness Preservation Foundation. Christie Ann Carlson, the daughter of John A. and Susan (Allen) Carlson, was born on February 17, 1982 in Litchfield, MN. She received her education in Litchfield, where she ran cross-country in Jr. High. Throughout her life she lived in Litchfield, St. Cloud, and Rochester, MN. Christie had the 'gift of gab' and could begin a conversation with anyone. She enjoyed drawing and writing poetry, and will be remembered for her adventurous spirit and friendly personality. Christie is survived by her mother Susan (Gary) Schrotberger of Litchfield, MN, her sons Dakota and Preston Johnson and parents Cindy and Paul Johnson of St. Cloud, MN, Connor Carlson and parents Laura Carlson-Heideman and Scott Heideman of Montrose, MN and Aedan Owens and parents Jane and Steve Owens of Cambridge, MN; grandmother Lorraine Bengson; sister Laura Carlson-Heideman (Scott Heideman); aunts and uncles James (Lisa) Carlson, Viki VanHorn, Albert Allen and Margaret (Doug) Hudson; and cousins Blaze, Cory, Charles, Dana, Mike and Cheri. She is preceded in death by her father John A. Carlson; grandparents, Charles and Catherine Allen, John H.
