Charles Anderson

Charles M. Anderson, age 90, of Litchfield, MN, died at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield on Saturday, April 18, 2015. A private family graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in Lake Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN. Military Honors were provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard. Charles Mattis Anderson, the son of Mattis and Minnie (Nelson) Anderson, was born in New London, MN on September 17, 1924. He grew up on a farm in Danielson Township and lived his entire life on the same farm in the same house. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1942 and served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Charles married Lenora Lindell and they lived their entire life on the family farm. He is survived by his son, Richard (and Diane) Anderson of Hutchinson, MN; daughter-in-law Becky of Litchfield, MN; 4 grandchildren; Melissa Conn, Matthew (Tommy) Anderson, Paula (Scott) Nicholson and Zachery Lindstrom; great grandchildren; Kendall Conn, Alexander Anderson, Haley Anderson, Megan Anderson, Abraham Nicholson, Levi Nicholson and Isaac Nicholson. He was preceded in death by his wife Lenora; parents Mattis and Minnie; and son David Anderson.
