Carol Marie Timm, (“Big Red,” as some of her friends would call her), passed away on March 19, 2025 in Alexandria, Minnesota, at the age of 60 after a long battle of various health issues, and cancer. Carol was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and dear friend.

Carol was the daughter of John and Mardella (Gunther) Walker, and was born on November 28, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Coon Rapids High school in 1983. On June 6, 1987, Carol was united in marriage to Bruce Timm, and they had two children; Jessica Timm of Litchfield, MN and Sara Briggs of Litchfield, MN.

Carol is survived by her husband Bruce, daughters Jessica, and Sara, grandchildren; Abel and Matthew Briggs, sisters Deb (Vince) Golden, Pam (Dan) Kyllingstad, brothers Michael Walker, Alan (Nina) Walker, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Some of Carol’s hobbies include spending time with her grandchildren; Abel and Matthew (Briggs) - playing basketball, various games, and chess with Abel. She enjoyed baking Christmas cookies and desserts - many times including her grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and word finds. Carol loved drives around the lake, and animals.

Carol is preceded in death by her Father John Walker, Mother Mardella Walker, as well as grandparents; Ida Lewis, Otto Gunther, and Ruth Gunther.

A celebration of life will be held in the future, and her daughter will notify family, friends, and loved ones with the details regarding the celebration once everything is set in place. We appreciate everyone's condolences and patience during this time.
