Burton E. Larson

Burton E. Larson, age 93 of Grove City, MN died on Saturday December 14, 2024 at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, MN. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday April 5, 2025 at First Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City, MN followed by Military honors.

Burton E. Laron the son of George and Esther (Kronbeck) Larson was born on July 30, 1931 in Litchfield, MN. Burton graduated from Grove City high school and then entered the Korean war training pilots in the Navy. He was united in marriage to Carole Selchow on October 15, 1955 in Minneapolis, MN. Burton enjoyed farming, raising cattle, hogs, crop farming corn and soybeans. He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Grove City and later the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Willmar, MN. Burton enjoyed traveling, and wintering in Tucson AZ. He was always busy, but had time for fishing.

Burton is survived by his children Steven (Heidi) Larson of Roseville, MN, Douglas (Velda) Larson of Paynesville, MN and Barbara (Steven) Balinski of Rockford, MN; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and a sister in law Nancy Christian of Sedona, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carole; parents George and Esther; daughter Patricia; and siblings; Myrwin, Margaret, Wendell, and Ruth Marie; brother in laws Richard and Robert.
