Bonnie Weseman

Bonnie Weseman, 91, of Litchfield went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 at Assumption Community Home in Cold Spring MN. A celebration of life will be at 11:00 am Friday, March 15th, at Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield with a visitation two hours prior. lnternment will be.at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield following the service.

Bonnie Mae Weseman, daughter of Edward and Elaine (Peterson) Jones, was born on March 19, 1932, in Mankato, MN. She grew up in Lake Crystal, MN.

She was united in marriage to Henry "Hank" Weseman at Zion Lutheran Church in Lake Crystal, on December 1, 1948. They moved to Grove City in the spring of 1960, where they raised their five children and lived on their farm until moving to Litchfield in 1977. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and later attended Victory Christian Fellowship, both of Grove City.

Bonnie and Henry enjoyed spending time at their cabins, taking little trips in their motorhome, camping with family at Benson, traveling to Arizona during the winter, and playing lots of card games with family and friends. Wherever they spent their time, they welcomed the family to join them and created many good memories with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bonnie loved having her family around and was always busy making gifts for them. She spent a lot of time crocheting making sure that all of her family had gifts at Christmas time.

She is survived by her children Shirley Anglin of Litchfield, Jerry (Mary) Weseman of Grove City, Craig (Becky) Weseman of Grove City, Brian (Jerolyn) Weseman of Spicer, and Rita (Jerry) Hoekstra of Hawick; 20 grandchildren; and over 50 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, of 68 years; her parents, Edward & Elaine Jones; her infant brother Wayne; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
