Beulah M. Abramson, age 95, of Litchfield, MN died on Monday, April 27, 2015, at the Ecumen Emmanuel Home in Litchfield, MN. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be held at the Badger Lake Cemetery in rural Iona, MN. Beulah May Abramson, the daughter of Eric and Anna (Groth) Gudmundson was born on May 8, 1919 in Iona, MN. She attended grade school at the Iona Public School, graduated from Slayton High School in 1936 and received her teacher training in Windom, MN. She taught two years in country schools. Beulah was united in marriage to Arthur Abramson on June 8, 1939. They purchased a farm east of Slayton, MN where they lived, until they moved into Slayton after retiring. Beulah later moved to Litchfield to live with her daughter Ann. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed knitting, reading, tailoring, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Ann Abramson, Joan (Steve) Pankonin, Lynn (Roger Francis) Abramson and Mark Abramson; 3 grandsons Bradley Pankonin, Brian (Penny) Pankonin and Charles Hill; and 4 great grandchildren Kayla, McKenna, Greysen and Jessiah Pankonin. She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur; parents, brother and sisters Clara Trosin, Linda Ginn, Delilah Griffith, Margaret Gudmundson, Vera Bergman, Ruth Taylor and infant brother Damon.Previous Events
