Barb A. Foley

Barbara A. Foley, age 58, of Litchfield died at her home on Saturday, April 2, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 8, 2011, at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Church of St. Philip with a Parish Prayer service at 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Litchfield. Barbara Ann ""Barb"" Foley, the daughter of James and Mabel (Chekal) Foley, was born on November 8, 1952 in Litchfield. She grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1972. Barb was a member of St. Philip's Church. She worked at various places in Litchfield including; A&W, St. Philip's Catholic School, numerous daycares and group homes and area grocery stores. Barb enjoyed being outdoors working in her flowerbed and taking walks. She also enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her heart of gold and a willingness to always help others. Barb was a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Barb is survived by her parents, Jim and Mabel of Litchfield, sisters; Mary (and Arthur) Hoffman of Brownton, Carol Clough of Litchfield, and Marion Foley of Mankato. She is also survived by her niece Jenny Hoffman (and fiancé Steve Schultz), nephews Larry (and Stacy) Hoffman, Ryan Clough and Kyle Clough, great nieces, Lydia Schultz and Ava Hoffman, great nephew Noah Say, good friend Dean Straub and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
